“KIRKOVO” Ltd. successfully completed the activities under the project agreement BG-RRP-3.004-1929-C01 “Technological modernization in the enterprise”, with the financial support of the European Union – NextGenerationEU under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The project aims to increase the efficiency of production processes, enhance productivity, reduce production costs, and optimize the company’s production chain. The technological modernization of the company was enhanced, leading to increased competitiveness and production capacity, as well as increased export potential, resulting in improved market presence for the company. The expected effect is the recovery of the economic potential from the pre-COVID pandemic period and the creation of conditions for growth and development through the digitization of production processes to expand the company’s activities. The investments under the project fully comply with the “do no significant harm” principle for the environment and will contribute to the country’s green transition.
The project delivered, installed, and commissioned modern equipment for producing high-quality products that meet European standards and requirements, focusing on the digitization of production processes to expand production capacity and diversify the offered products and services. As a result, the potential for producing and exporting high value-added products will increase, ensuring the development of competitive, efficient, and effective production that guarantees sustainability and good economic effects for the enterprise and increased employment. The implementation of new technologies will also improve resource efficiency, increase production capacity and product quality, and establish good management systems for applying new business models and practices.
The successful completion of the project also achieves the goal of the procedure, which is in implementation of the “Economic Transformation Program” investment under the “Smart Industry” component of the NRRP.
The activities started on 10.04.2023 and were successfully completed on 10.04.2024.
